Born and raised in Louisville, KY. Received my teaching certificate from Western Kentucky University. Started teaching High School Social Studies before being hired as a Technology Integration Specialist.
Dawn has over 10 years of experience in the high-tech sector both in the US and Europe. At Xyleme, Dawn successfully built the company’s financial services market working with global investment banks such as JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank in the areas of equity research, derivatives, and risk management. Before Xyleme, Dawn was working in Silicon Valley as Director of Business Development at web content management vendor Wego Systems Inc. which was successfully acquired by Astoria Software. Prior to Wego, Dawn worked in the network mediation / billing space for Narus Inc. where she was responsible for delivering WorldCom as the company’s first Marquee customer, resulting in the company securing $26mn in financing.
Dawn also held strategic positions at SGI and began her career as a financial analyst at Procter & Gamble where she received a company award for excellence within only two years of employment. Dawn Poulos holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
