Maureen Ingram has been involved with parent participatory schools for some 20 years. She currently works as a mentor for new early childhood teachers and teaches a weekly mixed-age preschool class.

I am a storyteller and teacher-librarian. I was a public librarian for ten years prior to making the move to school library. I discovered the Internet in 1993 when a high school junior showed it to me on the computer which controlled our school’s satellite dish.
I began this journey with a 300 baud modem and a belief that curiosity and the availability of information would make a huge difference for my high school students.
