M Jurado, Spain, Primary, Seconday, Tertiary, Further, English as a Foreign Language

I am a passionate language teacher with a keen interest in the learning process and the role that education can play in providing opportunities for personal development. Being European and having lived in several different countries in the EU made me acutely aware of how important it is being able to speak several languages.

I am convinced of the enormous need that we have in Europe for effective and empowering language teachers that can lead us to a fuller use of our human resources in building strong societies and economies. My motivation to become such an inspiring teacher has been complemented with my academic qualifications and my extended teaching experience in the field of modern languages.

As I see it, my blog is a hybrid between a personal blog and an educational blog. It is dedicated to my students but also to other students and teachers of English alike.

It is personal in the way that I comment issues that are interesting from my point of view and educational because my goal is always help specially Spanish speakers learn English, whether it be by motivation through songs or actual links.

There are also special pages for students, teachers and another one for parents is coming up soon!!

Francois Oosthuizen, South Africa, English, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

I have been teaching English for more than 5 years now and I have had the privilege of teaching students from a variety of different countries all over the world.

I have taught Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced students from more than 15 different countries (including Germany, Russia, Korea, Japan, China, Angola, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Thailand, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina). I have a passion for teaching. When I am not teaching, I enjoy writing a blog for English language learners.

Free English Lessons
My blog offers free grammar and vocabulary lessons for the English language. It also highlights common mistakes that learners of this language make. A new lesson is written and posted each day and features a simplified explanation as well as an exercise that the student can do by posting to the comments section.

Each comment is approved by the teacher and thorough feedback is provided with regard to the answers. Students do not need to sign up in order to leave comments. Furthermore, each lesson also concludes with a section of relevant vocabulary from the lesson.
