Ian Smythe

Ian Smythe, UK, All Sectors, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities

My work is currently centred around using technology to identify and support the needs of those with dyslexia/learning disabilities of all age. This came out of a PhD that identified cognitive difficulties of those with reading and writing difficulties in different languages.

My work now tends to centre on working with governments, research institutions and NGOs in Brazil, China and Hungary (plus a few others), developing technology based resources to maximise the available support.

TechnoDys
Technodys is designed to be a source of links to resources and information on how technology can assist those with dyslexia/learning disabilities. The blog includes brief (dyslexia-friendly) reviews of online and offline software, hardware, and commentaries on related topics.
