Beth Knittle, Massachusetts, USA, Primary, Secondary, Adult, General Education and Technology Integration
After almost 20 years as a math-science teacher Beth took on the role of a K-12 Technology Integration Specialist. In this role her job is to support teachers as they integrate technology in their classroom, assist the special education department with assistive technology and to promote universal design for learning.
She has lived and worked in a variety of places: New Jersey, New York City, Ghana, Jordan, Korea, Saudi Arabia and now Massachusetts. Beth is very interested in fostering collaboration and communication among educators using the many social networking tools available to day particularly Second Life where she is known as Beth Kohnke.
Beth is a Special Interest Group Leader for MassCUE and is on the Leadership Council for the Discovery Educator Network in Second Life.
