Alex Savage is an ICT Advanced Skills Teacher at Notre Dame High School, Norwich. He also works for SSAT as the ICT Lead Practitioner Coordinator. He is an ICT ITT trainer for the Norfolk/Suffolk GTP course and writes for a number of educational publications including the TES.

Alex is particularly interested in bringing the real world into the curriculum. This involves providing students with global issues to research and link schools for them to share their ideas with.

He is also researching effective and safe uses of web2.0 such as blogs, wikis, video conferencing to enable this international communication and collaboration to take place. His website CommunICTy.org has lots of teaching resources for ICT and Global Learning.
