I've taught various levels of elementary school for the past twenty-three years. I recently completed my master's degree in Integrating Technology in the Classroom.
I started a classroom blog in 2008, and I couldn't be happier with the process or the results. It integrates reading, writing, thinking, social studies, science, art, music, and technology.

This third grade blog is a platform for sharing and learning. The posts integrate all aspects of the curriculum through writing and digital media.
Some post are written by the teacher and others are written by individual students or groups of students. Quality commenting is an integral part of the blog. Students are taught how to participate in an online community.
