Delaney J. Kirk, Ph.D., has 26 years of teaching experience including 18 years as a tenured full professor at Drake University before moving to the University of South Florida in Sarasota in 2007.
She has taught workshops on classroom management and teaching effectiveness at numerous academic conferences and schools and was the featured expert for the Chronicle of Higher Education’s online chat on classroom management on September 15, 2004.
Her book, Taking Back the Classroom: Tips for the College Professor on Becoming a More Effective Teacher, was released by Tiberius Publications in October 2005.
