Lori Franklin
Lori Franklin, Overland Park, Kansas, USA, Public, Secondary, School Library Media Curriculum
As a Library Media Specialist I have worked with young people in school libraries for the past 11 years. I am a national board certified teacher. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of South Florida ('83) and Florida State University ('96).
I am currently working toward a Ph.D. in Library Science at Emporia State University. I especially enjoy working with technologies and using them to teach others ways to aid their work performance. I'm also interested in promoting database instruction and use, and in student perceptions about their experiences in school library media centers.
Library Log - currently offline
The Library Log covers events happening at the Olathe East High School Media Center. It is also used as a forum for examining student work projects and sharing school library success stories.
