I teach ICT to a wide range of students at Inchicore College of Further Education in Dublin, Ireland. In addition, I am the ICT co-ordinator in the college. This means that I am also the Network, VLE and Website Administrator. Recently joined the blogsphere in July 2007. I strongly support the use of quality open source and free software in education.
Using ICT in Further Education
This blog focuses on open source and free resources that are available on the Internet and which may be used in education. The blog concentrates on resources which will run on PCs using Microsoft Windows. However, many of the resources referenced have also been developed to run in other environments (Mac, Linux etc). There are also many online resources which run on any platform.
Free Resources for Education
This blog provides a 'database' of useful free resources that can be used at all levels of education.
