Nick Amaral is an Instructional Technology Coach and English Teacher at Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch, New Jersey. His continued effort to implement technology into the classroom has afforded him the opportunity to feature a gamified, self-paced and self-directed, mastery learning classroom.
In addition to teaching, he is responsible for supporting teachers’ understanding, implementation, and use of technology in the classroom, as well as designing ongoing professional development. He continues to differentiate instruction and meet students where they are, and design more engaging learning experiences that meet the whole student.
