Derek E. Baird, M.A. is a media technologist, speaker, and author specializing in web strategy, mobile learning, Gen Y, educational technology/media, and online communities. He has designed and developed online education communities for U.S. and international clients in both the corporate, education and non-profit sectors.
While working at Yahoo!, he co-designed Yahoo! For Teachers, a social network for educators, and led a series of educational technology workshops across the country.
